What’s Included in Your Active Health Check?

Our health check gives you a clear picture of your current health by combining key blood and non-blood tests — all performed quickly and conveniently. Here's what you can expect:

Blood Pressure Monitoring

Your blood pressure is measured using a standard arm cuff to check both systolic and diastolic values. This helps detect whether your blood pressure is too high or too low — important for identifying risks of heart disease or stroke.

Heart Rhythm Test (ECG)

We use a 6-lead ECG to monitor your heart’s electrical activity, rhythm, and rate. This is helpful in detecting irregular rhythms such as atrial fibrillation, a condition that can increase stroke risk. While not fully diagnostic, this ECG provides enough data to recommend further medical evaluation if needed.

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Check

This test checks for reduced blood flow to the legs, often caused by narrowed arteries. Using the Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI), we compare blood pressure in your arm and ankle to screen for early signs of PAD. (Recommended for ages 40–79.)

Kidney Function Test

This blood test evaluates your kidney health by checking sodium, urea, creatinine, and eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate) — a measure of how efficiently your kidneys filter waste.

Iron & Protein Levels

Assesses essential proteins and iron levels in your blood. These are vital for energy, immune function, and oxygen transport. Low levels may indicate anaemia, or issues with the liver or kidneys.

Bone, Muscle & Energy Health

This test measures calcium, phosphate, and uric acid. These are important for strong bones, nerve and muscle function, and energy. Abnormal levels may relate to conditions like gout, cramps, or fatigue.

Body Composition Scan

A full breakdown of your muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, and water levels using a safe, low-grade electrical signal. Helps track your fitness and metabolic health.

Heart Disease & Stroke Risk Score

Combining your results from cholesterol, blood pressure, and BMI, this calculates your risk of developing cardiovascular disease or stroke — known as metabolic syndrome screening.

Liver Function Test

Assesses key liver enzymes and proteins (ALT, ALP, Gamma GT, and bilirubin) to help identify signs of liver stress or damage, often linked to alcohol use or medication.

Cholesterol & Diabetes Screening

  • Lipid Panel: Measures LDL (bad cholesterol), HDL (good cholesterol), and triglycerides.
  • HbA1c Test: A 3-month average of your blood sugar levels — more accurate than a standard glucose check for identifying type 2 diabetes risk.
